New Videos by Fellows

Two Centre Fellows have made new videos designed to raise awareness about animal issues.

Professor Andrew Knight has produced a six part video series with Humane Research Australia on animal experimentation, which can be viewed here. Professor Knight is Associate Professor of Welfare and Ethics, and Director of the Clinical Skills Laboratory at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Caribbean.  He is author of The Costs and Benefits of Animal Experiments published in the Palgrave Macmillan Animal Ethics Series.  Details of the book can be found here.

Dr Aysha Akhtar has also produced a TedX Talk entitled ‘Do animals hold the key to your health?’

Dr Akhtar is a neurologist and public health specialist. She works for the Office of Counterterrorism and Emerging Threats of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  She is the author of Animals and Public Health published in the Palgrave Macmillan Animal Ethics Series.
